Academic independence, transparency and clear boundaries.

Governance

SIG Clinical Communication operates as an academic initiative in association with ICAIM, with a defined Special Interest Group leadership and Secretariat.

SigmaMozak Solutions is the Knowledge & Implementation Partner and supports operational, knowledge, research and implementation activities.

National consultation safeguards

  • Institutional consultation findings are reported primarily in aggregate.
  • Medical colleges are not publicly ranked.
  • The consultation is not conducted on behalf of the National Medical Commission and is not a regulatory inspection.
  • Institutional participation is voluntary.

Future academic initiatives

The SIG may develop additional academic activities in response to priorities identified through the consultation, evidence review and educator network.

Any future research, educational evaluation or institution-specific implementation activity should have clearly defined objectives, appropriate institutional approvals and separate governance where required. Participation in the national consultation does not imply participation in any subsequent activity.

Partnership disclosure: SigmaMozak Solutions is the SIG's Knowledge & Implementation Partner and supports operational, knowledge and implementation activities. This relationship should be disclosed in relevant reports, publications, academic activities and presentations.
Consultation independence

Participation is not linked to any commercial product or service.

The national consultation is an academic exercise focused on institutional experience of clinical communication education. Participation does not require, imply or create any obligation to purchase, use, evaluate or adopt any commercial product or service.

SigmaMozak supports the SIG Secretariat, coordination, knowledge activities and implementation support. This operational role is disclosed transparently and is separate from institutional participation in the consultation.
